Bio
Laney is from Massachusetts and studying aeronautical and astronautical engineering. Aside from her involvement in the WiE M&M program, she is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, as the director of social events, and GEARE, a program that allows students the opportunities to learn about and experience engineering globally. Outside of school, Laney enjoys going on runs with her dog, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
“I believe the M&M program is an amazing opportunity for students in engineering to provide support and encouragement to others. This program provides students with a resource for connection, networking, support, and friends. The M&M program is there to help and guide every participants through the difficult times of college and engineering curriculum. This program gave me the confidence and encouragement I needed to push through any hard times I endured. The Women in Engineering program has allowed me to make strong connections with other women in my major, develop professional leadership and communication skill, and ultimately reassurance my decision of pursuing engineering.”
