Birck Facilities for Nanofab and Characterization

Our lab has access to the state-of-the-art nanofab cleanroom and characterization equipment in the Birck Nanotechnology Center.

Chip Measurements & System Prototyping

• All-in-one NI-PXI characterization system for high-performance, automated tests and validation of packaged dies and systems.

• Full-fledged chip testing tools: mixed-signal 1.5 GHz 4+16-channel Oscilloscope, high-precision Digital Multimeter, 120 MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator, high-precision DC Power Supplies, etc.

• FPGA development boards for prototyping and instrumentation.

Computational Resources & EDA Infrastrucure

• PowerEdge R660 server (64-core Intel Xeon Platinum 8562Y+ 2.8GHz, 768GB RAM, 960GB SSD, 11TB HDD, Nvidia Ampere A2 GPU).
• PowerEdge R7625 server (32-core AMD EPYC 9124 3.0GHz, 384GB RAM, 4TB HDD).
• Dedicated Nvidia A100-80GB GPU (along with 16-core AMD Milan processor, 256GB RAM).
• Access to additional CPU/GPU clusters at Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC).
