Nanoelectronics Research Laboratory

About Us

Welcome to the Purdue University Nanoelectronics Research Laboratory website! We are located in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Nanoelectronics Research Laboratory, established in the 1994. Currently the lab supports over 35 PhD researchers. Major sponsors of research are Intel, IBM, HP, SRC, NSF, DARPA, IARPA, SRC JUMP 2.0, Army Research Laboratory, Office of Naval Research, Rockwell, StarNet, Argonne National Laboratory, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, ATT/Lucent, Qualcomm, Nano Research Initiative, and vannevar Bush Fellowship. Kaushik has supervised and graduated over 100 PhD students and 27 MS students to date.

The primary focus of research is neuromorphic computing and deep learning algorithms, stochastic computing, coupled-oscillatory systems, energy efficient deep learning/neuromorphic hardware, neuro- mimetic devices, and device/circuit/algorithm co-design.
