Research Interests

Design, development and modeling of heat transfer, fluid mechanics and microstructural development in materials processing, especially solidification processes and heat treatment of metal alloys. Through-process modeling of metal production, from casting through heat treat to deformation. Energy analysis of extractive metallurgy operations. Uncertainty quantification in process modeling.
