2016 Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting

Purdue faculty, staff and students attended the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting on January 10–14, 2016, in Washington, D.C. The program attracted more than 12,000 transportation professionals from around the world. Purdue colleagues shared their latest research findings in several dozen presentations, poster sessions, and committee meetings.

In addition to the technical program, the annual TRB meeting also provides an opportunity to re-connect with Purdue alumni.  On Sunday, Lyles School of Civil Engineering and Joint Transportation Research Program hosted a reception to provide an opportunity for current students, staff, and students to engage with CE alums from across the country.   On Wednesday, Purdue alumni David Yang hosted the students on a tour of the FHWA Turner Fairbanks Research Facility.
