The Trimble Technology Lab brings industry-leading hardware, software, mixed reality, positioning, and modeling technologies into Purdue’s learning and research environment.
The initiative grew from a faculty-led relationship that began with a need for surveying equipment and developed into a strategic academic partnership. An agreement was signed in July 2023, and the laboratory was formally dedicated in March 2024.

Nicholas Dib served as the principal faculty facilitator in building Purdue’s relationship with Trimble.
Years of sustained engagement transformed an equipment inquiry into a laboratory designed to serve students, faculty, and industry. The resulting space expands Purdue’s capacity for forward-looking teaching and applied research.
