Purdue IE Webletter

Summer 2014

Is it really summer already?!

Abhi DeshmukhGreetings to all of the Purdue IE family!

What a spring it has been! With endless meetings in planning and preparation for the impressive Grissom Hall renovation and numerous interviews to select which outstanding candidates would be invited to join the Purdue IE faculty as part of Purdue Engineering's strategic growth effort, the past few months have been a real whirlwind of activity.  It's exciting stuff, though -- as you'll see in some of the articles below!

As always, I'd like to invite you to stop and say hello if you happen to be on campus.  You should know, though, that since Grissom Hall is closed for it's transformational renovation, you'll need to come visit us in our temporary location on the 4th floor of the newly-opened Wang Hall (directly across from the Physics Building on Northwestern Avenue).  This will be the home of Purdue IE until we return to Grissom Hall in the Fall of 2015.

Enjoy your summer!
