New faces around Purdue IE this fall
As part of Purdue
Engineering's Strategic Growth Initiative, two new professors of practice will be working closely with the school beginning this fall. We're
happy to welcome Dan Dumbacher and Bob Kenley to the Purdue Engineering
family! Both Dan and Bob will be lending their years of experience and expertise to Purdue's Systems Initiative, a college-wide effort with which IE is heavily involved.
Dan Dumbacher comes to the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics after a long and impressive career with NASA. Dan served in many roles with NASA, most recently as the Deputy Associate Administrator for Exploration Systems at NASA Headquarters. Dan Holds a BSME from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
Bob Kenley has had a long career in Systems Engineering and Analysis and will now be joining IE as Associate Professor of Engineering Practice. Dr.
Kenley has degrees from MIT (SB, Slaon School of Management), Purdue (MS, Statistics), and Stanford (MS and PhD, Engineering-Economic Systems) and over thirty years of experience in industry, academia and government as a practitioner, consultant, and researcher in systems engineering.
We're looking forward to welcoming Dan and Bob to the IE family!
