Hello everyone!
This week:
* A message from our excellent Grants lead
* Winterization info
* Details on the Graduate and Professional Studies Event (which can get money for EWB!)
* The plan for the meeting this Monday
* The team calendar link
Margaret, our Grants head, has created this spreadsheet to organize all the connections our team may have for applying to new grants. Please go to this spreadsheet<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iLbI1QQvxD2834RMpX8syUkt-kidBcjID1JZWMPQC2M/edit?usp=sharing> and fill out the relevant information before the Monday 11/13 meeting.
Our team is participating in Winterization on this Saturday, 11/11! This is the third year in a row that we've done Winterization as a team, and it's always been a rewarding and fun way to get to know each other. More information about Winterization is here<https://www.purduewinterization.org/>. Online registration has closed, but you can still register day-of at the event. Just come in time for the second wave, and make sure to tell them when you register that you're part of the Engineers Without Borders group.
The Graduate School is hosting the Midwest Graduate and Professional School Summit on this Saturday, 11/11 in Stewart Center. If 10 or more of our members attend the event, our organization gets $100, and if our organization has the most attendees, we get another $250. The event is an open house from 1:00-4:00, and a group of us are planning on going after Winterization. There are more details here<https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2pFLdI3lMg2cWxkcnE5dzFkWkk/view> if you're interested.
We'll be working in committees during our meeting this Monday, which will be at 6:00 PM in ARMS B098. The new member design team will meet again this week, as usual.
Here's <https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=k6adasfa5cutbnmsfkr76qvcuk%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York> the link to our team calendar. Please make sure to check the calendar for any events or major deadlines for our chapter, in addition to meeting times and locations, etc.
That's everything! I'll see you all at Winterization on Saturday and then at the Monday meeting.
Best,
Shawn Makulec
