[ESW] General Meeting, Friday Event & Job Opp

Hello ESW Members, 

Here are a few reminders about the general meeting tomorrow, an event opportunity this Friday, and a job opportunity this semester/this summer. Please keep in mind the membership requirements require everyone to attend at least 1 event per semester. 

General Meeting - Tomorrow, Tuesday March 3rd, 7:30-8:30pm in ME 2063 

Event Opportunity - Friday, March 6th 4:30-9pm in Stewart Center. Lafayette Regional Science and Engineering Fair Judging: Undergraduate students are needed to judge 5th-12th grade science projects. A free catered dinner will be provided to all judges . This is a fun event to see how young students in the community approach science. Deadline to sign-up is Wednesday March 4th at 4pm. If interested, see both attached documents and email lafayettesciencefair at gmail.com with you name, categories you are willing to judge, major, email address, and phone number. I will be participating in this event, make sure you come up to me and say hi so you get your event point. 

Job Opportunity - Purdue's Global Sustainability Institute (GSI) is seeking motivated Purdue undergraduate students who are passionate about sustainability to work as interns for the Spring and Summer 2015 semester . Students who have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate study in any major are welcome to apply. Interns will work on a variety of projects. The position is for 10 hours/week with $10/hour compensation. GSI utilizes education, research and development, and policy and advocacy to address the grand challenges affecting sustainability in the US and abroad. The GSI is located in Discovery Park, a multi-disciplinary research hub on the west side of the campus.
