If you know of a Purdue Undergraduate student who will attend Graduate School at Purdue University in Summer 2016 or Fall 2016, they should apply for this fellowship.  Students can also apply if they were admitted and start graduate school in Spring 2016, because they haven’t completed one semester.

Summer ORISE Fellowship Opportunities - January 15, 2016

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS), is seeking Summer ORISE Fellows to focus on public health issues related to the environment.  Candidates will join projects associated with developing and applying new methods to characterize and quantitate biochemical markers that are relevant in environmental exposures and chronic diseases.  The fellowship carries a stipend of approximately $2,700 per month for full-time undergraduate student fellows and $3,400 for full-time graduate student fellows. Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship - January 15, 2016 (Internal Deadline)
Graduate fellowships in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture or other formal professional training) and scholarly publications focusing on Armenian studies and culture. The candidate must demonstrate financial need, have an outstanding undergraduate record, and be a citizen of the US. DOE Computational Sciences Graduate Fellowship - January 19, 2016
The Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) program provides a $36,000/year stipend and all tuition and fees paid, as well as opportunities to students pursuing doctoral degrees in fields of study that use high performance computing to solve complex science and engineering problems. http://www.krellinst.org/csgf/about-doe-csgf


Charles C. Chappelle Fellowship - January 25, 2016
Provides a one-year fellowship to students with undergraduate degrees from Purdue for the furtherance of post-graduate research at Purdue University. Chappelle Fellows are selected on the basis of character, intellectual ability, and promise of degree attainment. The Chappelle Fellowship provides a stipend, Graduate School Fellow Scholarship, payment of most fees, and a medical insurance supplement. Grant and Proposal Writing Workshop - January 26, 2016
Dr. Peter Dunn (Professor of Entomology and Research Integrity Officer) will provide tips, advice, and instruction on how to write a proposal for funding. Josephine De Karman Fellowship - January 31, 2016
Open to students in any discipline, including international students, who are currently enrolled in a PhD program who will defend their dissertation by June 2016 and undergraduates entering their senior year (will receive bachelors degree in June 2016). Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teaching Fellowship - January 31, 2016
Eligible applicants include current undergraduates, recent college graduates, mid-career professionals, and retirees who have majored in or had careers in STEM fields but do not hold a teaching license. Ludwig Kruhe Fellowship - February 2, 2016
Supports fellowships for graduate students pursing courses in comparative government, or similar or related studies, to the end that international relationships and good will may be advanced through a better understanding of world affairs.

L’Oreal USA for Women in Science Fellowship - February 5, 2016
In the US, the For Women in Science fellowship program awards five post‐doctoral women scientists annually with grants of $60,000 each. Boren Awards - February 9, 2016
