[Epics-india] EPICS Design Reviews

Hello students,

A few notes going into this week's design reviews:


1)      Parking Passes for Guests: If you have invited project partners, reviewers, or other guests who need parking passes and you have not already alerted the EPICS office, you will need to stop in the office before your review to get a paper parking pass. You will need to provide Anna with the contact information of the guest, so please come prepared with their name, address, email, and phone number. You will need to have the guest pick up the pass from you before parking on campus. Purdue changed their parking pass system this semester, and electronic passes are no longer available.

2)      Limited Office Support: Jorge and I will be out of the office for a conference Wednesday through Friday, and so will not be on hand to assist with technical difficulties during the review. Please see your TA first, and then Dr. Oakes if you need technical support. If issues occur, your TA may decide to forego the remote review and proceed with an in-person only review.

3)      Professionalism: These are formal reviews, so please come dressed in at least business casual attire and conduct yourselves appropriately.

4)      Housekeeping: The EPICS conference rooms are used a lot for practice during design review week, but there is no nightly janitorial service, so please leave the room in better condition than you found it for the next morning's reviews. Also, the labs tend to get very messy as teams finish last minute work. We have many guests during design review, and would appreciate your efforts to clean up after yourselves and leave the labs in a state you would be proud of.
