[Embrio-list] EMBRIO Summer School Day 3 & Updates for Annual Retreat

Dear EMBRIOnic Folk,

The Summer School participants have been engaged in learning and incorporating pedagogical best practices into their instructional media projects and talking about science communication this week. Summer School organizers Ale Magana and Steph Gardner have organized 4 groups of presentations with a break in the middle this morning.  9am-11:40am in MJIS 1097.  Participants will be sharing their respective in-progress Colab notebooks to get feedback from the larger group.  Even if you are not involved in the summer school, we invite you to stop in this morning for the presentations.

We will get started at 8:30 with a welcome and overview from Director Umulis, followed by highlights from the Summer School, and an ABIDES Career Panel. Mid-morning our research thrust talks will commence. We have many exciting new results and insights to be shared this year.
