Next Monday's Weekly Update is dedicated to Thrust Leaders only meeting. We'll all be back the following week on the 13th with a research talk by Priyanka Baloni, Ass’t Prof., Health & Human Sciences, Purdue.

Purdue Faculty: If you desire an EMBRIO supported summer undergrad researcher, but have not yet completed the REU request survey<https://forms.gle/7b6H1UZxAirbwGb59>, please do that now! You can list an undergrad you've identified, or recruit through the SURF applicant pool (I will post your project for you). Either way, EMBRIO supported REU students will participate in the SURF program, which has a deadline of Feb. 15 for student applicants.

New: Calcium Imaging Techniques Journal Club

Norma Perez (nperezro at purdue.edu), EMBRIO Postdoc with the Buganza-Tepole and Umulis Labs, is leading the effort to organize this journal club. EMBRIO Student Leadership Council Call for Postdocs and Undergrads

Calling postdocs and undergrads to help lead student efforts through the newly formed EMBRIO Student Leadership Council. The SLC is in the early stages with graduate trainees organizing the council. The SLC is recruiting postdocs and undergrads to join the council leadership.
