Good morning, everyone,

Today is the day!
🌍 Earth Day Celebration – Paper Disposal and Electronics Recycling Day
🗓 Date: Friday, April 25
⏰ Time: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
📍 Location: FRNY Atrium
Let’s take action in celebration of Earth Day and clean our offices (and labs) of old/unwanted electronics and papers. Please bring them to the atrium, where there is a pallet to collect unwanted electronics and a secure bin for disposal of unwanted (confidential) papers.
If you have any small household items in good working condition, such as coffee makers, kettles, microwaves, etc. in your office and you don’t need them anymore but they could be used by someone else, please place them on the designated “Swap”table in the atrium - they are for grabs for anyone needing them.

Thank you,
Gabriela
On behalf of the ChE sustainability committee

Subject: Paper disposal and electronics recycling day - April 25

Hello everyone,

Today, April 22, is known as Earth Day – a day to take action and protect our planet. In celebration of Earth Day, the ChE Sustainability Committee is organizing a paper disposal and electronics recycling day – details below:

🌍 Earth Day Celebration – Paper Disposal and Electronics Recycling Day
🗓 Date: Friday, April 25
⏰ Time: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
📍 Location: FRNY Atrium

We will make available in the atrium a pallet to collect unwanted electronics and a secure bin for disposal of unwanted (confidential) papers.
We will also have a “swap table” for small household items in good working condition, such as coffee makers, kettles, microwaves, etc. If you have any of these items in your office and you don’t need them anymore but they could be used by someone else, please place them on the designated table in the atrium - they are for grabs for anyone needing them.

This is a great opportunity to clean out your office (and labs) of any unwanted electronics/electrical items such as computers, monitors, etc., and/or paperwork that needs secure disposal. If you have equipment that needs to be disposed of please contact Jason Davenport (jwdavenport at purdue.edu<mailto:jwdavenport at purdue.edu>) as disposal of equipment with a Purdue inventory number goes through a special procedure.
