2025 Purdue Child Care Tuition Assistance Program - Applications now being accepted

The Purdue Child Care Tuition Assistance Program<https://maillinks.purdue.edu/t/48032462/1364250332/102270753/0/116342/?f5d63f87=MjAyNSUyMFB1cmR1ZSUyMENoaWxkJTIwQ2FyZSUyMFR1aXRpb24lMjBBc3Npc3RhbmNlJTIwUHJvZ3JhbQ&x=3d6da02b> was created to make quality child care more affordable for Purdue faculty, staff and graduate students. Funds for these scholarships are provided through the Patty Jischke Child Care Endowment and Purdue University.

The application window is currently open and ends at 5 p.m. ET August 22. The application and all applicable documentation must be completed and submitted no later than 5 p.m. ET on August 22, 2025. Scholarships are not awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The same opportunity and criteria are applied to all applicants.

Criteria to apply

To apply for child care assistance, you must meet the following criteria:

  *   Families with at least one child enrolled at a Purdue Child Care Center<https://maillinks.purdue.edu/t/48032462/1364250332/101744273/0/116342/?f5d63f87=MjAyNSUyMFB1cmR1ZSUyMENoaWxkJTIwQ2FyZSUyMFR1aXRpb24lMjBBc3Npc3RhbmNlJTIwUHJvZ3JhbQ&x=7e0438a2> located on Purdue's West Lafayette campus, OR
  *   Benefits-eliible faculty or staff who have child(ren) currently enrolled in a level 3 or level 4 Paths to QUALITY facility, or state equivalent. Only families who have child(ren) currently enrolled in a level 3 or level 4 Paths to QUALITY(tm) facility (or equivalent), are eligible to apply for that child(ren). You can apply for the scholarship for all children currently enrolled in a level 3 or level 4 Paths to QUALITY(tm) facility or equivalent, AND
  *   Spend or anticipate spending at least 12 percent of your family's combined annual salary on child care.
     *   If you currently spend less than 12 percent of your family's combined annual salary on child care, but feel strongly about your financial situation, you can still complete an application.
Scholarship value and term

The value of the scholarship may cover up to 50 percent of the family's annual child care costs. The total amount of funds available will depend on the number of applicants and financial needs of those who apply.

The scholarship is a one-time payment to be applied toward 2025 childcare tuition.

Deadline to apply is 5 p.m. ET, August 22, 2025.

Note: All information in the application will be used for childcare tuition assistance purposes only. Qualtrics is a secure platform that protects data.

Applicants will be notified of award status via email no later than the week of September 8, 2025. Awards will be disbursed to awarded families no later than September 30, 2025, via payroll. Tax implications apply.
