Happy first day of Fall '25!

I wanted to provide a welcome, a virtual introduction and share key dates for you to note and pass along to your faculty.

You are key to the success of our students in that you help ensure faculty report grades in a timely manner. This impacts financial aid, degree progression, athletic and veteran eligibility and so much more. THANK YOU!

I will be your primary contact for final grading information and questions. This is also a great time to remind faculty to check that their web certifications are up-to-date. Keeping certifications current is essential to avoid any delays when entering grades. These certifications include FERPA, GLBA, Protecting SSNs, and Data Handling. These web certifications can be found here<https://one.purdue.edu/task/all/webcertifications>. Once logged in you will navigate to Enterprise Certifications to locate the certifications listed above.

Here are some key grading dates to share with faculty:

  1.  Initial Course Participation (ICP)
     *   Reporting required by the fourth class meeting for any course where a grade will be assigned at the end of the term (A-F, S/U, P/N)

  2.  Midterm Grading
     *
Midterm grading opens: Wednesday, September 24
     *
Midterm grading closes: Wednesday, November 12

  3.  Final Grading Windows
     *
First Eight-Week Session (August 25 – October 21)
        *
Grade Entry: 8 a.m. October 13 – 5 p.m. October 23

  *
Full Term (August 25 – December 20) and Second Eight-Week Session (October 22 – December 20)

        *
Grade Entry: 8 a.m. December 8 – 5 p.m. December 23

  *
Polytechnic Statewide locations will follow the above Full Term Session reporting.

  1.  Incomplete Grades
     *
Incomplete grades for Fall 2024 will revert to failing grade at the close of final grading, December 23
     *   Reminder lists will go out around midterm
