[Cce-faculty-list] Faculty meeting next week

Colleagues:
I am informed that the review feature in Elements is now open for all faculty members in Engineering. I am attaching a file that should help you through the steps. It is modified from what was shared with me by Ashlee Messersmith for CCE.
To recap:

  1.  All assistant and associate professors and a select group of Full Professors will go through four stages of review. The rest of the full professors only go through Stage 1 followed by Stage 4.
  2.  All mentors have been assigned as reviewers for their assistant and associate professor mentees. The Head is entered as reviewer for all faculty.
  3.  For Stage 1, all faculty members  (i) may enter any information they want under Reflection & Moving Forward tab, and (ii) must upload their CV.
Deadlines for our School are as follows:

  *   Stage 1 completed by all faculty: Feb. 28, 2025.
  *   Stage 2 completed by reviewers: April 10, 2025
  *   Stage 3 completed by reviewees: April 20, 2025.
  *   Stage 4 completed by School Head: May 15, 2025.

If you have not already done so, you must upload your information in Elements (https://www.purdue.edu/academics/faculty-affairs/resources/elements/index.php). It is easiest through your ORCID. You should, in particular, verify that your 2024 information (01/01/2024 to 12/31/2024) is accurate.
The review process will open shortly, and then we need to move fairly rapidly through the steps. I will be sharing internal deadlines for moving through the various stages shortly once the review process is initiated.

Please see the revised draft agenda along with the draft minutes of the 11/14/2024 meeting minutes. I have also included the EFD for CE 55801 course that we will vote on at the meeting. The EFD was shared at the last meeting, but we had decided to postpone the vote to the next meeting.

Please find the draft agenda for the faculty meeting this Thursday. We will be voting on graduate student stipends and on a proposal for a Professional MS (proposal attached). The minutes of our previous faculty meeting (11/14/2024) will be shared shortly.

We will also be discussing some important aspects of annual faculty evaluations for merit raises, and changes we make in our straw vote process. I hope to see you there.
