[Cce-faculty-list] Review CE 698 and CE 699 Rosters

Hello CCE Faculty Members!

Each semester, we have a few students who are mistakenly registered in the incorrect section of CE 698 or CE 699.  The graduate school and registrar have asked that we take a more pro-active approach and make corrections prior to grade submission time at the end of the semester.

I am asking that you please review your fall CE 689 and CE 699 course rosters to ensure that the correct students are assigned to you.  If you see someone in your section that you do not recognize, please contact me as soon as possible.  If you are missing one of your students that you believe should be registered for research this semester, they can, and should, still register through the Scheduling Assistant (student registration instructions are at: https://engineering.purdue.edu/CCE/Academics/Graduate/Current/Register, #7).

It's also important to ensure that the students are registered for the correct number of research credits - the system initially only approves one credit.  Sometimes students forget to go back into the registration system and modify the hours up to the desired amount.  Instructions for this modification process are also available in the link above.
