Purdue Colleagues,
As we reach the midpoint in the University's United Way giving campaign, we find ourselves at a crucial juncture. At this point we have raised $432,133 - over halfway to our $700,000 goal. I am incredibly grateful to the many colleagues who already generously contributed, thank you so much! However, it will take every single one of us to reach our goal - we need your help now more than ever.

How does your donation help?
*    $1 per week ($52 per year): Provides essential cleaning supplies to a family who has moved after being displaced.
*    $2 per week ($104 per year): Offers a scholarship for a student to attend a week of summer camp.
*    $5 per week ($260 per year): Allows five seniors to participate in a wellness program.
*    $8 per week ($416 per year): Provides a weekly backpack of food to a family with food insecurities.
*    $10 per week ($520 per year): Sponsors two children to attend Kindergarten Countdown Camps for four weeks.
*    $15 per week ($780 per year): Sponsors four classrooms of Read to Succeed volunteers in one of 20 area public schools.
*    $20 per week ($1,040 per year): Matches a child facing adversity with a caring adult mentor.
Your support is crucial. Many choose to invest between 1 and 2% of their annual income to help their departments and colleges meet their campaign goals. If you are able, a gift of $1,000 or more makes you a Vanguard level donor. Many of our campus leaders and faculty are part of this group of donors, and there are special events that bring this group together to share the impact of your contributions.
