Dear all,

NSAC is hosting a workshop on the Nanohub tools available and also the development process of creating new tools. In particular Jupyter, the new interactive online programming platform will be covered. Lunch will be provided! WHAT: NSAC Workshop
WHY: Learning about Nanohub tools and the awesome Jupyter platform
WHEN: Wednesday March 20th from 10 till 4pm

NOTE: Attendance to all sessions is not required

Schedule of Sessions:

10:00am - 11:30am - Introduction to Nanohub
11:30am - 12:00pm - Jupyter Introduction and Demo
12:00am - 12:30pm - Jupyter Exercise (Create Simple Notebook)
12:30pm - 01:00pm - Lunch Break/Open Q&A session
01:00pm - 01:30pm - More Jupyter tools.  Kernels, uploading, downloading, terminal.
01:30pm - 02:00pm - Exercise. Install and run tutorial files from github.
02:00pm - 02:30pm - Jupyter ecosystem talk/demo.  Learn about the different visualization tools and libraries.
02:30pm - 03:00pm - Exercise using visualization tools
03:00pm - 03:30pm - Jupyter Lab Intro
03:30pm - 04:00pm - TBA (Either Machine Learning with Jupyter or Jupyter Lab Exercises)

Note: There will be 10min breaks after exercise sections and refreshments will be provided.
