Hi Everyone,

On January 1st, 2019, Purdue University will go-live with their third and final phase of the Transform Purdue initiative.  This HCM (Human Capital Management) phase will rebuild the core human resources structure and upgrade from SAP to SuccessFactors which is an integrated, cloud-based core human capital management system.

Some of the functions that will change are time keeping, requesting leaves, performance metrics and employee data changes.  All of these functions will now be managed within SuccessFactors.  To access SuccessFactors you will log in with you career ID and BoilerKey password at www.one.purdue.edu<http://www.one.purdue.edu> and then search for the tile called "Employee Launchpad."  I strongly encourage all of you to visit the SuccessFactors<http://www.purdue.edu/successfactors> training page to become familiar with how you will manage these functions after January 1st.  There are also several video tutorials on YouTube that can be found by searching "Purdue University Transform Purdue".  PLEASE utilize these resources to ensure that you are well informed regarding these changes.

The one task that may have the most immediate impact for everyone is time keeping.  The Time Profile for all Birck employees (aside from a few student workers) will be some form of negative duration.  This means that your hours paid is based on your planned working schedule and that you will only need to edit your time sheet when you have an exception (more than 40 hours in a week) to record.  Those exceptions will be overtime, call back or the like.  Any time off will be recorded through a time off request and that information will automatically flow to your time sheet.
