East wing laboratories will not have temperature or humidity control during this shutdown.  Please power down all heat generating equipment prior to the shutdown.  No hood usage is allowed!

All hoods in the east wing of the Birck Nanotechnology Center will be shut down at 7:00 am Monday morning, 26 November 2012.  All hazardous materials - chemical and biological - must be removed from the hoods prior to that time. We hope to have the hoods operational by end of the day Wednesday, 28 November 2012. Please watch for a bnc-facility-notice e-mail and the removal of the signs before using a hood in the east wing.



Hoods in the west wing of the facility will NOT be affected by this work.
