Dear Colleague,
As mentioned in the email dated Feb 13, 2017, the 3D3C (3D Cell Culture Core) facility is setting up a database of cell lines available in the research laboratories of Purdue University with information on their use in 3D culture if applicable and on culture protocols. At the moment, information on more than 100 cell lines has been included in the database. We would like to thank those who contribute to the database already. For those who would also like to contribute, you can always input the cell line information through the following link, https://purdue.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bkeXZ5Xef10qP3L or email the following information to me (kwokt at purdue.edu):
Name of cell line
Tissue of origin of the cell line
Use with serum-free medium: Yes or No
Use in 3D culture as well: Yes or No

In the future, if you would like to know whether a specific cell line is available in the Purdue community, please feel free to contact me. I will search the database to identify the cell line(s) available, then contact the individual faculty who has the cell line(s) of interest, and upon her/his approval send the contact information to the requester. Hopefully, the database will help foster new collaborations among scientists at Purdue.
Thank you for your participation.

Yours sincerely,
Tim Kwok
