2nd floor Grad Offices
We will be scrubbing and waxing the 2nd floor graduate student offices on August 17th and 18th. We will post a sign on your office door as to which day your office will be done. You MUST move everything up off of the floor that you do not want to get wet and ruined. We will move your office chairs out to the hallway. On these days, you will not have access to your office from 5:00AM - 11:45AM. Thank you for helping us keep Birck beautiful.

Keurig Coffee Maker
The Keurig Coffee Maker in the atrium is currently broken. The option to repair the machine is being looked into. Currently there is no timeframe on when the machine will be operational again.

Russell Street Construction

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Aug. 3, 2016) - Remaining on-street parking will be removed, and additional construction work will be underway along Russell Street between State Street and Stadium Avenue beginning Monday, Aug. 8. Crews will be preparing the street for its conversion from one-way to two-way traffic as part of the State Street Redevelopment Project.

Due to the large volume of construction in the area, this section of Russell Street is currently closed to vehicular and pedestrian through traffic. When the road reopens on the evening of Aug. 11, all of Russell Street will be two-way traffic. The scope of this project will not impact Steven C. Beering Drive, located north of Stadium Avenue, part of which will remain one way.

The work being done is weather dependent, and if inclement weather occurs, the construction and conversion schedule may shift accordingly.

While work is underway, motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the area, allow extra time for commutes and find alternate routes and parking. When the road reopens on Aug. 11, motorists and pedestrians should continue exercising extreme caution as everyone adjusts to the new traffic patterns.
