Birck Capabilities and Use

A user wrote the following in this week's survey, "(We have) a very spacious and high functioning cleanroom. (I) like the possibility of expansion for future needs. (It's unfortunate that the) cleanroom is not utilized by more students/professors. They don't seem to realize what a great opportunity they have to utilize this facility. Most companies and universities would love to have a facility like ours."

Thank you to the user who wrote this comment. It is very true that the Birck Nanotechnology Center is one of the finest of its kind in the world, with a spacious and ultra-clean cleanroom with advanced processing capabilities, and a set of analytical, processing, and characterization labs that are world-class. And, as you can see from some of the facility work happening in our labs and cleanroom, we're expanding within the constraints of our building structure to accommodate more research. Over the next several months you will see more researchers coming with new equipment, bringing additional capabilities and expertise to Birck!

Thanks for your comments, please keep them coming!
