[BNC-all] Power Outage at Birck

Dear All Birck Colleagues -

On Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:15 pm a severe storm came through West Lafayette resulting in a power outage across campus, including the Birck Nanotechnology Center.  Members of the engineering and facility staffs came in to secure research equipment and building systems.  The outage lasted slightly more than one hour, and most systems were affected in some way.  The staff is working to restore all processing equipment including cyro-pump regeneration, heating element ramp-ups, safety purges, etc.   We will have the equipment available as soon as possible.  Please check Coral for equipment availability.
