[BNC-all] Coral Unavailable on Saturday, October 9

Dear Birck Users,

Due to the complete electrical shutdown of MSEE on Saturday, October 9, from 7:30 - ~ 4:30 (per the attached memo from ECN) we at the Birck Nanotechnology Center will experience a disruption of Coral services for the same time period (the Coral servers are located within MSEE).  THIS SHOULD NOT AFFECT RESEARCH TOOL AVAILABILITY HERE AT BIRCK.  Because Coral will be down during this time period we will require all users of Coral-interfaced tools to manually fill out log sheets near the equipment.  This manual logging will begin Saturday morning and continue until power has been restored to MSEE and the Coral servers brought back on-line.
