The team is collaborating with 2 global community partners, aiming to solve pressing issues like reforestation and empowerment of regional communities, in line with the United Nations SDGs. Lab times: Friday 8:30 - 10:20am

We are working with NMIMS, in partnership with Balipara Foundation, to reduce damage caused by deforestation in Eastern India by reforesting using Miyawaki method. The team aims to render 3D map templates, in combination with ArcGIS, to predict most effective reforestation efforts.

The other team is working with KL University to develop, VaaniConnect, a translation app to reduce the language barrier with some south Indian communities and make digital products accessible in their local dialects.
