Wenguang Zhao

Trinity College, Dublin

Wenguang Zhao graduated from Southeast University, China with B.E. in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering, and M.E. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics at the National Engineering Research Center of Turbo-generator Vibration at Southeast University. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Persoons in the School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin and is the recipient of a China Scholarship Council PhD Fellowship. Wenguang is working on aeroacoustics and vibrations in axial fans for thermal management of electronics enclosures. His interests are centered on the design optimisation and numerical modelling of rotating machinery.
