Taylor is a direct PhD student under the advisement of Dr. Garimella and Dr. Weibel and has been awarded the Perry Fellowship from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University and the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship funded by the Department of Defense. Currently, Taylor's work involves observing the effect of superhydrophobic, superhydrophilic, and non-uniformly wetting surfaces on pool boiling performance. His overarching interests lie in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and water treatment.
