Orlando G. Rivera Gonzalez

Orlando received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. He is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (2022–2025) and Purdue's Ross Fellowship (2021–2022). He is currently a doctoral student in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. His research focuses on thermal modeling and surface characterization of ultrawhite nanoparticle-based radiatively cooled surfaces for condensation applications like water harvesting, under the guidance of Professor Justin Weibel and Professor Xiulin Ruan.
