In this theme, we describe application drivers that can provide meaningful context to the neuro-inspired algorithms and architectures being developed in the other themes of C-BRIC. We will leverage cutting-edge testbeds already available with the PIs of Theme 4 to collect data sets and constraints that will drive the research in Themes 1-3. We will validate C-BRIC’s advances in cognitive algorithms, hardware, and software on autonomous platforms, both in the air and on the ground. This theme is led by Kumar and Lee at the University of Pennsylvania.
