Outreach
This committee focuses on connecting students with volunteering experiences in the greater West Lafayette/Lafayette community surrounding Purdue's campus. We are specifically in the process of establishing various annual events in which a group of BMES members will visit local elementary and high schools to present about Purdue's BME program, and more generally the opportunities that an engineering degree provides. Our goal is to bring prospective students to Purdue's campus and provide access to activities such as a case competition and BME department tours.
