Purdue AIChE Executive Board

The Team

The executive board oversees the entire organization and determines the direction of the organization. The executive board consists of five members: President, External Vice President, Internal Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. All committees are overseen by one executive board member, who advises his/her committee head(s). The executive board represents the face of Purdue AIChE, and they are the only positions that are elected in Purdue AIChE.

President

Rithika Athreya — rathreya@purdue.edu

The President is in charge of creating and implementing all of Purdue AIChE's goals of (1) connecting students with students, (2) connecting students with faculty, (3) connecting students with industry, and (4) connecting students with community. The President is responsible for overseeing the rest of the Executive Board and indirectly acting as a liaison, resource, and mentor for all committees. The President also acts as a liaison between Purdue AIChE and other engineering organizations.

Internal VP

Mallory Gagliardi — mngaglia@purdue.edu

The Internal Vice President is in charge of executing Purdue AIChE's goals of (1) connecting students with students and (2) connecting students with faculty. In striving for this goal, the Internal VP oversees and acts as a liaison, resource, and mentor for the Student Relations, Faculty Relations, Undergraduate Research, and Outreach committees.

External VP

Austin Dichsen — adichsen@purdue.edu

The External Vice President is in charge of executing Purdue AIChE's goals of (1) connecting students with industry and (2) connecting students with community. In striving for this goal, the External VP oversees and acts as a liaison, resource, and mentor for the Industrial Relations, Philanthropy, Mentorship, and Chapter Relations committees.

Treasurer

Tejas Patel — tjpatel@purdue.edu

The Treasurer is responsible for effectively maintaining all assets owned and operated by Purdue AIChE. The Treasurer is also responsible for ensuring that proper records and documentations exists for each transaction that occurs and that regular audits occur for all assets.

Secretary

Katie Huang — huan1666@purdue.edu

The Secretary manages all communications and correspondence with members and faculty regarding upcoming events and organization updates. In addition, the Secretary keeps a record of all meetings, sends weekly updates to all members, and manages the Purdue AIChE website. The Secretary acts as a liaison, resource, and mentor for the Marketing committee.
