I left a technical expert in the field of regenerative medicine with confidence. Purdue taught me my "3 P's": Pride, Purpose, and Passion. I often make it back to campus to give talks to students while also serving on our Engineering Association Board of Directors; and my message is that "Engineering teaches you to a skillset to take any career path". I am forever grateful to Purdue, and forever grateful to Purdue Engineering (ever grateful, ever true...all hail Purdue!)."

Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Market Access, Miach Orthopedics
In his 15-year career, Arjun Ishwar's passion and purpose has been to commercialize products that revolutionize the
field of regenerative medicine, change standards of care, and ultimately improve patient care. He currently is vice
president of sales, marketing, and market access for Miach Orthopaedics, which commercialized the first and only
FDA-approved medical device to fully restore and regenerate a patient's torn ACL. In his role, he built out the various
teams to market the Bridge Enhanced ACL Restoration (BEAR®) Implant, which has benefited over 4,000 patients in two
years. Previously, he spent 10 years at ACell, Inc., where he was promoted six times and helped grow the company from
$1M in revenue to $100M and increased the number of employees from 30 to more than 500.
Ishwar has been recognized in various medical societies, served on industry advisory boards — including the highly
regarded, Boswick Burn & Wound — and has led sales and marketing roundtables and technical conferences. He has helped
spearhead corporate fundraising as well as merger and acquisition efforts totaling over $500M while also responsible for
launching and commercializing products that have successfully treated more than 40,000 patients.
More important to him than the bottom line, though, are the remarkable results he has witnessed firsthand: children who
have survived massive, full-body burns; patients who have overcome unimaginable trauma; and athletes who have had
terrifying knee injuries repaired without significant surgeries. He makes frequent trips back to Purdue, where his
message to students is always the same — "Engineering teaches you a skillset to take any career path."
