Prof. Jiao serves as the Director of Advanced Technology Paternships and a Faculty Fellow of the Chipshub project funded by National Science Foundation (NSF). Our vision of the project is "Chip design for every student, everywhere!" with a mission to "Building & operating sustainable, scalable, adaptable, community-driven cyber-infrastructure that lowers barriers to create real world chip designs." Prof. Jiao is Purdue PI of the Artificial Intelligence Driven RF Integrated Circuit Design Enablement (AIDRFIC) program, the first National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) R&D Jump Start project. She will co-lead the Thrust of EDA tool development and integration in the UT-led team on the project titled GENIE-RFIC: Generative ENgine for Intelligent and Expedited RFIC Design. (May 2025)
Rapid-HI Design Institute is part of DARPA's Next Generation Microelectronics Manufacturing (NGMM) Program led by UT's Texas Institute for Electronics. The NGMM program intends to pioneer revolutionary science and technology achievements that will propel the next major wave in the manufacture of high-performance microelectronics – specifically, through 3DHI.
