Mentorship Program

Aero Assist is in charge of the mentorship program for new and incoming graduate students in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The mentorship programs includes events for new graduate students to meet each other, interact with their mentors and become integrated into the graduate program.

We are looking for a current graduate student to serve as the Mentorship Committee chairperson for the 2020-2021 school year. Those who are interested are encouraged to contact Sai Mudumba at smudumba@purdue.edu.

Tips for AAE Graduate Students

Provides a simple list of various tips to help AAE graduate students get off the ground and running. Also a great resource for current graduate students!

Things to Do in West Lafayette and Lafayette

Provides a simple guide with helpful hints about things to do in the greater Lafayette area, including restaurants, festivals, transportation, and more.

Introduction to LaTeX

Provides a crash course in how to create, compose and compile documents using LaTeX. Example files can downloaded here and various LaTeX references discussed during the presentation can be downloaded here.

Introduction to Matlab

Provides a crash course in the basics of using Matlab to help prepare for use in classes.  Big thanks to Isaac for putting together both the LaTeX and Matlab presentations.  Matlab presentation can be downloaded here.

Using Purdue Library Resources
