Deployment of traffic signal performance measures throughout Indiana as well as in Lafayette, IN; Morgantown, WV, and Elkhart County, IN recently received press coverage regarding its impact on reducing congestion and fuel consumption. This research has been funded by a variety of sponsors including: the National Cooperative Research Program (NCHRP), the Joint Transportation Research Program (JTRP), West Virginia Department of Transportation, the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), and several private sector companies.
