Nina
Episodes 1-4
How will college treat Nina? She’s hoping it will be good. In fact, she’s determined to make it an experience filled with good memories and high-quality experiences — even when classes or career fairs may be stressing her out. From Day 1 to graduation, Nina’s goal is not to just survive in Purdue Engineering but thrive.
Clifford
Episodes 1-4
Clifford isn’t worried about college — at least, not about making connections, professionally and socially. He’s laid back, open to new experiences and more than happy to help his peers get caught up or stay connected. But will that cool demeanor stay past the first day?
David
Episode 1
David is looking to study materials engineering at Purdue, but first he has to get through the first day. If he can get through unnoticed and without having to share a fun fact about himself, David would be OK. And then he meets Nina and Clifford.
Anika
Episode 2
Anika’s Purdue experience has been smooth until the first career fair. Her resume is OK, but when it comes to the elevator pitch, she’s stressing. Studying mechanical engineering will certainly help problem-solve with peers … once they’re all on the same page about the resume first.
Logan
Episode 2
Logan is scrambling before the career fair. It’s sophomore year, and he wants to excel, just like he did in first-year engineering. But when his work experience comes up short, it’s up to Logan and peers to make something that will be strong and accurate.
Abby
Episode 3
TA Abby is finally getting students in office hours, and she’s excited. Who cares it’s only because there’s an important exam coming up? Students eager to learn come to the drop-in session. Abby’s happy to help … with one key exception.
Amareah
Episode 3
Amareah studies civil engineering and knows the importance of understanding the foundation. So when her grades come back less than stellar in a class, she realizes it's time to try office hours.
Ethan
Episode 3
Ethan is no stranger to office hours, even if he may not want to admit it. He's quick to offer help to classmates and join study groups ... but not as quick to ask a question when he's not sure the answer. He tends to like to work things out on his own and ask for confirmation afterward.
Anagha
Episode 4
Anagha found the Women in Engineering Program soon after arriving at Purdue and met Nina soon after. They/ve served on the same leadership team for almost four years, helping with a variety of recruiting programs and valuable resources to prospective students who would come looking for answers in the WiE hallway.
