Angie Rojas Cardenas

Angie received her B.S in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (UNAL) in 2022. As an undergraduate she won the Undergraduate Research Experience Purdue-Colombia scholarship (UREP-C) spring 2021 to work at Davis Research Group. She conducted research focusing on elastic modulus assessment of particle-reinforced elastomers and visualization stresses on a confinement elastomer using mechanophores. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Materials engineering department at Purdue University. Angie’s research focuses on enhance the thermal conductivity in polymer composites. She is working under the guidance of Prof. Chelsea Davis (MSE) and Prof. Amy Marconnet (ME).
