In large cities, occupants use public spaces around buildings for their social life. It is essential to create a suitable surrounding environment with acceptable wind speed, air temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, and contaminant concentration levels. This study used computational methods to study the distributions of the above parameters in the neighborhood. By working with architects and landscape architects, we investigate different design alternatives. Transient thermal comfort model is also developed to predict the thermal comfort level. Several surveys by questionnaires are also conducted to obtain data for validating the model.
