I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, and I serve as Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications. I received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Padova, Italy, in 2013, and I have been a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Southern California in 2013-2015. I am a Senior Member of IEEE.

My research interests lie in the areas of resource allocation and optimization of wireless communication systems, cognitive radios, energy harvesting IoT, 5G millimeter-wave networks, and machine learning applied to wireless communications.

My current research is funded by NSF under grant CNS-1642982, and by DARPA to compete in the Spectrum Collaboration Challenge (SC2).

During my free time I love biking, traveling, cooking and playing classical guitar.
