Data Science and ML in Education Research
In this body of work, we use a combination of modeling (parametric random processes) and machine learning (some of our home-brewed methods) to analyze (non-homogeneous, qualitative, mixed,...) educational data, make observations, and draw conclusions. Some of our methods are particularly well-suited for analyzing small data sets (e.g., 25 students) in high-dimension.
