How can I use superscripts for citations?

Note: I do not recommend using superscripts for citations. I think citations are important enough tha they should be normal size.

To use superscripts (e.g., 1) instead of braketets (e.g., [1]) to cite references put

\usepackage{overcite}
between your \documentclass and \begin{document} commands.
