Installing LaTeX
Do these steps to install LaTeX:
- Download MacTeX.mpkg.zip.
- Double click on the just downloaded MacTeX.dmg.
- Double click on the MacTeX.pkg icon now displayed and install the software.
Running LaTeX
- Start TeXShop.app by doing
- Click on the background of the desktop.
- Do, at menu at top of screen, File => New Finder Window.
- Click on ``Applications''.
- Double click on ``TeX''.
- Double click on ``TeXShop.app''.
- Enter these lines in the main part of the window.

\begin{document}
This is page 1.
\newpage
This is page 2.
\newpage
This is page 3.
\end{document}
- Do Apple key with 't' key at same time to typeset.
- Save as short.tex.
- Preview, print, whatever you want to do.
