Brief Biography

I received the B.S. and M.Eng. degrees in 1995 and Ph.D. in 1999, all from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), all in electrical engineering.

In 1999-2000, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Division of Applied Mathematics, Brown University.

From August 2000 until December 2014, I was on the faculty of Purdue University, first as Assistant Professor, then as Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. As of January 2015, I am Adjunct Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. My area is Communications, Networking, Signal and Image Processing.

I have supervised or am supervising 11 graduate students.

I have taught undergraduate courses on applied probability, signals and systems, and signal processing, and graduate courses on wavelets, estimation, linear systems, and financial engineering.
