1975 Irrigation Kansas
The principal objective of this experiment is to determine the
relation of leaf area index and biomass to multispectral reflectance as
a function of crop maturity stage. The treatments were selected to
give a range of leaf area indexes and biomass at any particular
maturity stage (measurement time). Secondly, the effects of
irrigation, nitrogen, and planting date on a spectral response can be
determined.
The following information was the before season experiment plan.
From two of the reps (probability I and II) data is to be collected for
the following irrigation treatments:
dry (8)
joint (4)
joint + boot (7)
joint + boot + milk (5)
Two of the available (still to be determined) fertility treatments will
be selected for measurements.
