How to get to the Purdue EE Bldg from Champaign-Urbana

Take Interstate I74 east for about 70 miles from Champaign. Take Exit 34 (Crawfordsville) onto 231 North. Stay on 231 for 25 minutes. It will take you directly into West Lafayette.

The Electrical Engineering Building is on Northwestern Ave. This is still Rt231 where is goes NW, about 1/2 mile after it leaves Rt43 and circles onto the bridge (merging into the road coming from Lafayette across the Wabash river). EE is the second building on the left after you cross Grant St (big intersection with traffic lights). Diagonally across Northwestern Av. there is a parking garage with a visitor center - the picture on the left. They have parking passes. If you are an invited visitor, we have most likely reserved a parking pass for you. Just let them know who you are.

You can save about 5 minutes by taking Rt 25 (I74 exit 25). It intersects Rt 231 south of Lafayette. Rest is the same.

The trip from the Univ. Of Illinois Campus to Purdue is about 95 miles and takes about 1 hour 45 minutes.

Notice that there is an hour of time difference. (We are on Eastern Time - Eastern Daylight Time in the summer)
