Announcements
For on-campus students, you will take the exam at 1-3pm, room BHEE117. Please arrive about 10-15 minutes earlier.
For online students, you will take the exam through Examity (similar to the midterms). On 12/13, you will be given a 24-hour window (from 12:01AM EDT to 11:59PM EDT) to take your exam. Please be careful for any time-zone difference. Once you start your exam, you will have 120 minutes to write your solution on a separate piece of paper (no phone usage during this period), and another 15 minutes to scan it to pdf and submit via Gradescope (no more writing in this period). Please set an alarm clock so that you know the 120-minute time-limit is up. Please make sure that you have the entire 135-minute period before the 24-hour window closes. Do not close Examity when you are submitting via Gradescope! Make sure you are within the view of the camera at all times.
The final exam is closed-book and closed-note. You may bring a calculator. You can bring two pages of letter-sized single-sided crib sheet. The final will be comprehensive. However, approximately 40-50% of the final will cover the materials after midterm 2 (TCP, multiple access). Sample exam for final is posted under "Homework & exams".
Also, you should have already received Purdue emails regarding semester-end course evaluations. You are encouraged to fill out the online course evaluation. As a token of appreciation, we will give 1% bonus credit for completing the course evaluation. After you fill it out, please send me (linx@ecn.purdue.edu) a quick email so that I can add the bonus credit for you (Otherwise I have no way to know your completion of the course evaluation). Your feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
